How the Rebirth ROI Calculator works
You enter the cash you currently hold, the pets you have placed (name, rarity, $/s), your current Rebirth tier (R0–R8), the tier you’re aiming for (R1–R8), and the planning horizon in days. The engine loads the R1–R8 ladder from src/data/config/rebirth-ladder.json and runs the calculation in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
The calculator returns four numbers:
- NPV at current tier — the cash you’d earn over your horizon without Rebirthing.
- NPV at target tier — the cash you’d earn after resetting, factoring in the offline share.
- NPV delta — the gain from Rebirthing.
- Premium threshold — 10% of the NPV at current tier.
If the delta beats the threshold and you can recover the cash gap in under 48 hours, the recommendation is REBIRTH NOW. If the delta is below threshold and the recovery time is longer than your horizon, the recommendation is DO NOT REBIRTH. If your roster produces no cash or holds fewer than 2 pets, the recommendation is BUILD A ROSTER FIRST.
The 3-tier projection
The projection table shows what happens if you push R+1, R+2, and R+3 from your current tier. Each row carries the cash threshold, the days-to-afford under your current strategy, the permanent Luck multiplier at that tier, and a label marking whether the tier is verified or INFERRED. Use this to plan the climb instead of guessing.
Strategy comparison
The same engine, three different efficiency multipliers:
- Standard (1.00×) — your usual public-server play.
- Alt-account (0.85×) — accounts for a second account that splits your active time and drops efficiency.
- Private server (1.10×) — assumes a VIP server where you can lock your base.
The table shows the NPV under each strategy on the same horizon. Use it to decide whether a private server subscription is worth the R$ cost.
What to keep / what to sell
The park list keeps your top N pets by cash/second, the sell list shows what you’d discard. The default park count is 2 (the typical “park two, sell the rest” pattern reported by Sportskeeda). The calculator rejects park counts larger than your current roster.
Missing pets for next tier
The next-tier pet requirements are loaded from the same JSON config. If you don’t have a required pet, the calculator surfaces it as a missing-pets card. Roll the Egg Mystery hologram until you have the right pair before attempting the Rebirth.
Confidence and version
Source confidence: medium. The R1 ladder is verified (developer-published). R2 is community-reported. R3–R8 follow the 5× cash ladder pattern and are marked INFERRED in the JSON. The calculator treats INFERRED tiers as scenarios — they may change with each biweekly event. Engine version 1.0.0, checked 2026-07-31.
