The current state of codes

Build a Base and Steal shipped without a code redemption system. The first code system arrived in the mid-July 2026 [UPD] patch. As of the 2026-07-31 verification date, three code strings are reported as active by Game Rant, Sportskeeda, and the YouTube demo:

Note: “Confirmed-active” means the string was redeemed successfully in place 132016691802922 by at least one verified source in the last 72 hours. If a code fails for you, log out, restart the client, and try once more — Roblox caches the Shop menu for several minutes after a server hop.

Developer-listed but not confirmed-active

These strings appear in the developer’s in-game news board or were hinted at in Patch Notes dialogs. They are not confirmed redeemable right now — treat them as developer-listed until a fresh in-game redemption is recorded.

  • Happy30KCopy — Game-Zoom prints this variant; the active build accepts Happy30K only.
  • WeHit30KCopy — same caveat; use WeHit30K.

Expired (do not try)

These strings were active in previous patches and are now retired. Redeeming them returns the “invalid code” toast.

  • All pre-mid-July strings — the code system did not exist before the [UPD] patch.

How to redeem a code

The redemption route lives inside the right-side Shop menu, not the Codes button on the main HUD. The flow:

  1. Open Build a Base and Steal and wait for the server to load your base.
  2. Walk to the right-side Shop menu (the NPC behind the counter, not the in-game buy menu).
  3. Look for the Codes textbox on the right edge of the Shop panel.
  4. Paste the verified string exactly (codes are case-sensitive).
  5. Confirm the reward before closing the dialog.

If you don’t see the Codes textbox, you may be on a pre-[UPD] server. Server-hop once and try again.

Why third-party code lists drift

Code aggregators like buildabaseandsteal.com and earnaldo’s hub republish strings from the developer news board and from YouTube captions. Both lag the live build:

  • Aggregator lag: 24–72 hours after a code is retired, aggregator caches may still report it as active.
  • YouTube caption lag: older videos print pre-patch strings (Happy30KCopy / WeHit30KCopy) that the active build rejects.

When in doubt, cross-check the code string against the verified-active table above and the in-game Patch Notes dialog.

What reward do codes give?

Temporary +Luck boosts — typically +2 to +4 Luck for 5 to 10 minutes. The boost helps your next Egg Mystery roll hit a higher rarity tier.
